OSMM has recently purchased several copies of the new Vatican II Hymnal. This beautiful book contains 750 pages and includes complete readings for all Sundays and major feasts. This is the first hymnal ever printed to contain the complete texts for the sung propers of the Mass.
There are over one hundred pages of Mass settings using the new translation of the Roman Missal, including complete texts in Latin and English for both forms of the Mass (ordinary and extraordinary). The hymnal includes more than one hundred pages of Communion Hymns, Saint Noel Chabanel Responsorial Psalms, Garnier Alleluias, and much more! Inside each of these beautiful books you will find a label, as shown at left, stating that a particular book has been donated in someone's honor. This donation is a very simple way to help our Ministry meet ongoing expenses. More importantly, it is a way to honor a loved one with special prayers during our Holy Masses.
